Terms & Conditions

Terms and Conditions of Act Attack for Training Classes (updated 2022)

Act Attack is committed to ensure that:

  • Τhe Courses are taught by competent and motivated teachers;
  • Most of the classes of each course are taught by the same Teacher;
  • If there are any changes to the teachers, studios or course schedules, Act Attack will inform the students as soon as possible – we need at least 7-8 students registered per course to be able to facilitate a lesson and create dynamic groups. As a theater school with more than 10 courses per week in many different cities and hundreds of students, we promise that we give our very best to accomodate everyone:-)
  • All the safety covid-19 measures are taken in the studios (soaps, surfaces cleaned) and we are applying the 1.5 meters rule as much as possible, without reducing the quality and structure of the course.
  • Most Act Attack courses are suitable for total beginners and do not include a graduation show at the end. Depending on demand, the beginners courses can continue to intermediate & advanced courses, with a final graduation performance. Act Attack always do the best to prioritize the growth & satisfaction of their students. We can adapt the course structure if needed, according to the preferences and capabilities of each group.

Priority is given to Students who booked a Full Course in advance (students who book a Trial Class are only entitled to access to the Full Course, if there are still spots available). Booking of separate classes (apart from the trial), is not possible.

The Student shall:

  1. Pay (via bank transfer, payment link or via our new e-shop)
    • the full price of a full Course in advance and before the first Class/trial/free trial if they have chosen a full Course
      Or
    • the price of the Trial Class in advance and before the first Class if they have chosen only a trial class;
      Or
    • the full price of a full Course (minus the price of the trial Class) before the second group Class, if they decide to continue with the full group Course after the trial class or the free trial class.
  2. Adhere to the Course schedule & terms agreed with Act Attack;
  3. Inform the Teacher & the group in advance in case he/she cannot arrive to a group Course on time or cannot attend for any reason, by writing an instant Whatsapp message in the group chat, at least 1 hour before the start of a group class;
  4. Attend at least 70% of each course (= 4 out of 6 classes). Regular attendance will ensure a positive group dymamic as well as providing the student with increased opportunities to partake in pair- and group activities. It is beneficial for a student to commit to attending the majority of the lessons in a course to ensure his/her personal growth. Each succeeding lesson will build on the skills and activities of the previous lesson. If a student is absent or late in more than 2 group classes per course without a valid notice, then unfortunately he/she will not be eligible to continue the course.
  5. Follow the instructions of the teacher during the class and respect the privacy & safety of the group members;
  6. Inform Act Attack before a group class starts about any relevant medical conditions that may impact the student’s participation & safety. If the student fails to communicate this, Act Attack cannot be held liable, in case the student needs to interrupt or terminate the group Course for their own safety, or the safety of their classmates.

Amendments & Refunds

  1. Act Attack has the right to reschedule the starting dates of a course, whenever this is necessary. This can happen for one or more of the following reasons: in order to fulfill the class with the minimum amount of students needed, in case of bad weather for outdoor classes (we sometimes offer alternative areas with cover),  in case of sickness/urgent unavailability of a teacher or a studio, or when other safety/health circumstances apply (lockdowns etc). Act Attack will inform the students for this potential change in advance, as soon as possible. Act Attack is not obliged to provide a refund to the students regarding this change, if the new dates apply up to 1 month after the original starting date. Urgent exceptions may apply.
  2. Students who paid but cannot attend an entire group course for any reason, have the right to request an amendment, for another course in the same season. Amendments can only be accepted, if asked the latest 2 weeks before the start of each group course and depending on the availability. In case there is no course available for the student to join instead, the student can keep his/her course credit for another season.
  3. Act Attack grants Students/every Student the right to withdrawal at least 30 (thirty) days before the beginning date of a group/private course. The Student may request a refund without having to give any reason to revoke the Course Agreement during this 30-day period. Any request addressed after this deadline will not be considered, as we count on minimum amount of registrations to facilitate our courses. Exceptions for medical/safety reasons may apply.
  4. Partial refunds of classes that the student could not attend, are not possible. Booking of separate classes (apart from the trial or a special offer of Act Attack), is not possible.
  5. Act Attack has the right to cancel the participation of the course for a student, in case the student does not follow the rules above (informing the group on time about absences, not following the hygienic rules and being responsible for the safety of the other students). Act Attack has also the right to ask for a refund and even denounce the student in extreme situations, like for example if the student comes to the class knowing he/she is sick and there’s a possibility of affecting the health of the other participants.
  6. Amendments for entire private courses are not possible. Date amendments for specific private classes are partially possible. If there’s a date & time agreed with the student and the teacher, both parts must follow this schedule.
  7. In order to offer the best possible experience, informative and quality content, and access to resources, Student may need to allow access to limited personal information (first name, last name, email address, phone number). The information collected is for the exclusive use of Act Attack. Act Attack will not share personal data with any third party.
  8. Act Attack is not responsible for any injuries or medical conditions being caused by a student to another student inside or during the classes. Act Attack and the teacher will do their best to make sure that safety is ensured in every class.
  • Private Classes
    A. Student has the right to reschedule for any reason a private class appointment with the teacher for free, up to (2) times in a private course package, if he/she informs the teacher at least 48 hours in advance for this amendment. Student has also the right to reschedule for any reason (1) time a private class appointment with the teacher for free, if the teacher is informed at least 24 hours before the class. If the reschedule happens more times than mentioned above, the class(es) is/are considered as done and no refund of the lost classes can be issued.
    B. Teacher has the right to reschedule for any reason a private class appointment with the student, up to (3) times, if the student is informed anytime before the scheduled class. In case the above are not followed by the teacher, the student has the right to request a refund of the classes missed.
